Gross Beat stores audio in a 2-bar rolling buffer under the control of 36 user definable time and volume envelopes, giving Parameters can be set to momentary changes when a key is held down, return to base when it is released, or continue to hold mode on a preset to preset basis. Synchronization of presets can be set to immediate change to gradual change over 4 beats or 1 bar. You can link the volume and gating operations together to operate in unison. In addition to gating, the software also contains ducking presets that you can use to create side-chain pumping effects.
